WIDEST SELECTION OF NATIVE AMERICAN ART ONLINE
TRUSTED BY THOUSANDS OF BUYERS SINCE 1999
Ryan Czarnecki is an Anglo silversmith who resides in Southern Arizona. This necklace was made as a custom request by the previous owner, whose collection we recently acquired. The 265 ct natural Bisbee turquoise stone was purchased from the private collection of a long time Native arts dealer and provided to Ryan. The two strands of mixed Sleeping Beauty and Castle Dome turquoise beads were acquired from artist and turquoise dealer GL Miller.
Ryan set the large Bisbee stone in a heavy sterling silver setting with hand sawed accents. The back is hand engraved with a to-scale map of the Bisbee lavender pit where the stone was mined, with an accent of hand textured copper as the Bisbee mine is a closed copper mine. A small diamond is inset in the upper right compass rose. Surrounding the pendant are a mix of inlaid copper minerals like azurite and pyrite which all also came from Bisbee. Even the small copper bars between came from Bisbee float copper. The necklace is finished with a hand made hook and eye clasp and another small, natural Bisbee turquoise stone set in 18k gold! Stamped with Ryan's hallmark. Ryan estimates he spent over 100 hours on this necklace overall.
Size: Necklace is 22" in total length. Pendant is 2 7/8" tall, 2 1/4" wide.
